Ms. Martin had served one year as the hospital’s CFO and “helped to put KMC on more stable financial footing,” Supervisor Leticia Perez said, according to the report. However, supervisors also said Ms. Martin isn’t a good fit for the position as KMC switches to being governed by a hospital authority.
Ms. Martin, who could not be reached for comment, was in the second year of her contract, which included a six-month severance package for termination without cause, according to the report.
