Saratoga Hospital names Dr. Todd Duthaler CMIO

Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., has named Todd Duthaler, DO, as CMIO.

Dr. Duthaler has been an emergency medicine physician at the hospital since 1999. He was involved in the design of the computerized physician order entry system for the hospital’s emergency department and is currently enrolled in the American College of Physician Executives Health Information Technology Leadership Certificate Program.

“With his combination of clinical and informatics expertise, Dr. Duthaler is the ideal choice to ensure that Saratoga Hospital and our community reap the benefits of today’s information systems capabilities,” said Richard Falivena, DO, vice president and chief medical and physician integration officer at Saratoga Hospital.
