Loyola University Health System Names Dr. Christopher Wood CMIO

Maywood, Ill.-based Loyola University Health System has appointed Christopher Wood, MD, CMIO, according to a Chicago Tribune report.

Dr. Wood, a family medicine physician, said his first task will be helping physicians better use and understand Epic, the health system’s electronic medical record platform, according to the report.

Dr. Wood most recently served as medical director of information systems at Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City.
