Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital names new CEO

Lesley Ogden, MD, CEO of Lincoln City, Ore.-based Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital, has also been named CEO of Newport, Ore.-based Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital, according to The News Guard.

Dr. Ogden has served as interim CEO of Pacific Communities since November. She started at North Lincoln in 2006 as a physician in the hospital's emergency department. Both hospitals under her supervision are undergoing facilities expansion.

"We believe that Lesley is doing an outstanding job in her leadership role, with excellent support from her teams at both hospitals, and we are prepared to move forward with Lesley as the CEO at both locations," said Larry Mullins, CEO and president of Samaritan Health Services. "We feel she is the best choice to lead the two hospitals forward in their plans for new facilities."
