Saint Vincent Hospital names new CNO: 3 things to know

Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Mass., has promoted JoAnn Piedrafite, RNC, to CNO, according to a Telegram report.

Here are three things to know about Ms. Piedrafite.

1. She replaces current CNO, Lisa Zapatka, RN, who was promoted to regional chief nursing executive for the Tenet Northeast Region.

2. Ms. Piedrafite has served as executive director of musculoskeletal services and professional services at the hospital since 2008, and as executive director of the Saint Vincent Cancer and Wellness Center since November, according to the report.

3. Ms. Piedrafite received her master’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in healthcare, from Western New England College, now Western New England University, in Springfield, Mass.
