Saint Thomas Health appoints Amy Wilson 1st system CNO: 4 takeaways

Nashville, Tenn.-based Saint Thomas Health named Amy D. Wilson, BSN, MSN, its inaugural CNO, effective Jan. 3, 2017, according to a Nashville Post report.

Here are four takeaways:

1. Most recently, Ms. Wilson served as CNO and COO at Pensacola, Fla.-based Sacred Heart Hospital.

2. Prior to that, she was director of performance improvement and accreditation at Children’s of Alabama on the University of Alabama at Birmingham campus.

3. She was also director of the stem cell transplant unit at Children’s of Alabama.

4. Saint Thomas Health is a part of St. Louis-based Ascension. It includes nine hospitals.
