Russell Regional Hospital names new leader after ousting CEO: 4 points

Russell (Kan.) Regional Hospital named Sharon Collins CEO, according to a KRSL Russell Radio report.

Four points:

1. Ms. Collins has worked at the nonprofit, critical access hospital for 20-plus years.

2. She has served in several leadership roles over the years, including as COO and interim CEO.

3. She succeeds Rob Nahmensen, who was released from his contract in February.

4. In an email to the Salina Post, Mr. Nahmensen wrote he was dismissed “without cause or warning” and that it came as a “complete surprise.”
