Roper St. Francis CEO to retire: 3 things to know

David Dunlap, president and CEO of Charleston, S.C.-based Roper St. Francis, plans to retire by the end of 2016, according to The Post and Courier.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Dunlap.

1. He has led Roper St. Francis for the past 13 years.

2. During his tenure at Roper, the health system acquired dozens of local physician practices, expanded into several outlying counties and built its hospital in Mount Pleasant, S.C., according to The Post and Courier.

3. Mr. Roper’s successor has not yet been named.
