Rome Memorial Hospital drops ‘interim’ from CMO Dr. Andrew Bushnell’s title: 3 points

Rome (N.Y.) Memorial Hospital tapped Andrew Bushnell, MD, to serve as permanent CMO, according to an Oneida Dispatch report.

Here are three points:

1. Dr. Bushnell has served in the CMO role on an interim basis since April 2017, after Frank Ehrlich, MD, left the position.

2. He will also continue serving as medical director of the hospital’s emergency department.

3. In addition to his earning his medical degree and completing his residency, Dr. Bushnell holds an MBA from the University of Vermont in Burlington.
