Roland Cruickshank is Methodist University Hospital’s new president: 3 things to know

Memphis, Tenn.-based Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare selected Roland Cruickshank to serve as president of Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, effective in March.

Here are three things to know:

1. Currently, Mr. Cruickshank is president of The Vintage Hospital in Houston, part of Houston-based CHI St. Luke’s Health.

2. He formerly served as vice president of operations at Houston Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. Additionally, he oversaw pharmacy and laboratory services across eight hospitals in the Houston Methodist system.

3. He earned a master’s degree in health administration from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and a master’s in public affairs from the University of South Carolina in Columbia.
