Here are four things to know:
1. Most recently, Mr. Maloney served as COO of Frankfort (Ky.) Regional Medical Center, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.
2. Prior to that, he was vice president of operations at HCA’s Lewisgale Medical Center in Salem, Va.
3. He has also served in leadership roles in rehabilitation and physical therapy services.
4. Mr. Maloney earned his MBA from Troy (Ala.) State University.
