Richard Shumway is UC Medical Center’s new chief administrative officer: 3 things to know

Cincinnati-based UC Health selected Richard Shumway to serve as vice president and chief administrative officer of University of Cincinnati Medical Center, effective May 1, 2017.

Here are three things to know:

1. Mr. Shumway joins UC Health from Salt Lake City-based University of Utah Health Care, where he served as executive director.

2. He previously held administrative positions at University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

3. He holds a master of health services administration from the University of Washington in Seattle.
