On June 26, Mr. Weller will take the position formerly held by Chris Nicholas, who was promoted last year to serve as CEO of Reno-based Renown Regional Medical Center, according to a news release.
Mr. Weller brings leadership experience to the role. His most recent experience is with Centennial, Colo.-based Centura Health as group vice president of physician enterprise for greater Colorado and Kansas.
Renown South Meadows Medical Center is a 138-bed acute care community hospital, and Renown Rehabilitation Hospital is a 62-bed physical rehabilitation hospital. Both are part of Reno-based Renown Health.
