Ms. Edwards comes to Regional Medical Center from Palmetto Health in Columbia, S.C., where she served as senior vice president and CIO. She also was corporate director of clinical applications and director of information technology for clinical services at Palmetto Health.
She is a member of the Healthcare Information and Management System Society and the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives. She is also a member of the Healthcare Information and Management System Society Analytics CIO Advisory Board.
Ms. Edwards holds a master’s in healthcare administration from Strayer University in Columbia.
