RCCH HealthCare Partners appoints Chairman Martin Rash as CEO: 4 notes

Brentwood, Tenn.-based RCCH HealthCare Partners, an operator of 17 regional health systems, tapped Martin S. Rash to lead as president and CEO.

Here are four notes:

1. Mr. Rash currently served as executive chairman of RCCH HealthCare Partners, a role he will continue in addition to his new positions.

2. He replaces Michael Wiechart, who recently resigned to explore other career options.

3. RCCH HealthCare Partners recently merged with Franklin, Tenn.-based Capella Healthcare.

4. RCCH HealthCare Partners also signed a definitive agreement with St. Louis-based Ascension to acquire Lourdes Health in Pasco, Wash., and St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho.
