Providence taps chief executive for clinical operations in 2 states

Scott Foster-Edwards, MD, was appointed chief executive of Providence Clinical Network, North, encompassing Washington and Alaska, according to posts on LinkedIn.

Dr. Foster-Edwards joins Providence Clinical Network, a division of Renton, Wash.-based Providence, after serving as chief executive of PeaceHealth Medical Group, the physician group within Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth.

He joined the PeaceHealth system a decade ago and became chief executive of the medical group in 2022. Family priorities drove him to step down from the post earlier this year.  

Before joining PeaceHealth, he held various roles at Providence in Oregon, according to his LinkedIn.
