William Calhoun, chief executive of Missoula-based Providence Montana, plans to step down April 10 to pursue executive coaching.
Providence Montana COO Kirk Bodlovic will serve as interim chief executive, a health system spokesperson confirmed to Becker’s.
In February, Mr. Calhoun became a member of the Center for Executive Coaching, a coach training and certification company. He has served as Providence Montana’s chief executive since February 2024, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Before his current role, he was president and CEO of Kearney (Neb.) Regional Medical Center for six years. He also served as president of hospital operations and CEO of community hospitals at Rockledge, Fla.-based Health First from 2014 to 2017.
Providence Montana is part of Renton, Wash.-based Providence.
