ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital president to retire

Randy DeGroot, president of ProMedica Coldwater (Mich.) Regional Hospital, is retiring, effective Jan. 10, according to radio station WTVB.

Mr. DeGroot joined the Community Health Center of Branch County, now ProMedica Coldwater Regional, in 1995. He served as CFO of the organization before becoming president.

Community Health Center of Branch County officially became part of Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica in 2018.

Before joining Community Health Center of Branch County, Mr. DeGroot was CFO of several facilities affiliated with Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.

Dan Schewanke, who most recently served as president of ProMedica Monroe (Mich.) Regional Hospital, will succeed Mr. DeGroot, according to WTVB.
