In this role, Dr. Morel will oversee physician operations and groupwide initiatives at Chappaqua, N.Y.-based CareMount Medical, an independent multispecialty medical group, according to a news release.
Dr. Morel has served as the medical group’s deputy CMO and is medical director of CareMount Health Solutions’ accountable care organization.
He also previously was co-medical director and vice president of Westmed Medical Group in Purchase, N.Y., and medical director for Columbia Presbyterian Riverdale in the Bronx, New York.
