Prime Healthcare taps Randall Nyp to serve as Kansas City market CEO: 4 things to know

Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare selected Randall Nyp to serve as CEO of its Kansas City market, according to The Kansas City Star.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Nyp’s previous roles include serving as head of operations at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., and Saint John Hospital in Leavenworth, Kan.

2. He has also previously served as COO of Spartanburg (S.C.) Regional Healthcare System.

3. Prime Healthcare’s Kansas City market includes four hospitals and 31 physician practices and clinics.

4. The four hospitals in the market are:

•    Providence Medical Center
•    Saint John Hospital
•    St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City
•    St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, Kan.
