Mr. Ulery brings a wealth of experience to the role, according to a news release.
Most recently, he served as executive vice president and COO, and acting president and CEO of South Charleston, W.Va.-based Thomas Health. He also was senior vice president and COO of Athens (Ga.) Regional Health System.
Mr. Ulery began his new role April 3.
