Bob Gomes Appointed Acting President of St. Charles Redmond

St. Charles Health System has announced that in addition to serving as CEO of Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Prineville, Ore., Bob Gomes will also serve as acting CEO of St. Charles Redmond (Ore.), according to a health system news release.

Mr. Gomes has worked for St. Charles Health System since 2010. He previously served as vice president of physician services at St. Peter’s Hospital in Helena, Mont. Mr. Gomes’ appointment has been made on an interim basis as the health system evaluates and reforms its leadership structure, according to the hospital news release. Mr. Gomes replaces former CEO Patrick Varga.
