President of WellSpan’s Good Samaritan Hospital to retire after 22 years

Robert J. Longo, senior vice president of York, Pa.-based WellSpan Health and president of Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, Pa., will retire at the end of 2015, according to the Lebanon Daily News.

Mr. Longo has served in his current role for the last 22 years.

Previously, he served as Good Samaritan’s CFO for seven years and COO for three years, according to the report.

Under his leadership, Good Samaritan Hospital has undergone many changes. Most recently, the hospital affiliated with WellSpan Health. In 2004, he oversaw a $46 million expansion project that doubled the size of the hospital.
