Ms. Rhine’s new appointment is effective Feb. 9. She succeeds Beth Hughes, who resigned Tuesday.
Ms. Rhine has 20 years of hospital leadership experience. Most recently, she served as chief administrative officer for Presence Health. Previously, she oversaw human resources, information technology and communication/public relations. She is a former member of the Presence St. Mary’s Hospital board. Before joining Presence, Ms. Rhine served in various leadership roles for Saint Joseph Mercy Health System in Ann Arbor, Mich., for 11 years.
