Hancock, Mich.-based Portage Health has appointed Mary Beth Hines, DO, vice president of medical affairs and CMO.
Dr. Hines has worked in the Portage Health Trauma Center for more than 10 years, including serving as director of the department. She will continue working with patients in the trauma center in her new role.
Before joining Portage Health, Dr. Hines was the director of the emergency department at the former Keweenaw Hospital, now Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital, in Laurium, Mich. and director of education for the emergency medicine residency program at Michigan State University in East Lansing.
