Juanita Deskins, COO of Pikeville (Ky.) Medical Center, resigned earlier this month, according to a Williamson Daily News report.
Here are three things to know:
1. Ms. Deskins transitioned to a new role with the medical center and will now serve as a consultant.
2. She worked at the medical center for 41 years.
3. Donovan Blackburn, who is assistant CEO of the hospital, stepped into the COO role.
