Piedmont Healthcare Names Kevin Brown CEO

Kevin Brown, formerly CEO at Swedish Health Services in Seattle, has been named president and CEO of Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta, the health system announced.

The appointment, effective May 2013, will install Mr. Brown as a permanent replacement for the late R. Timothy Stack. Patrick M. Battey, MD, chair of the Piedmont board of directors, had been serving as interim CEO during the search.
