Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, Ga., appointed Angela Swayne, MD, its new CMO.

1. Dr. Swayne most recently served as physician director of quality and safety for Piedmont Fayette.

2. She has served in numerous leadership roles at the hospital, including as medical director of the intensive care unit and chair of the medicine department.

3. Dr. Swayne succeeds Fred Willms, MD, who is retiring at the end of the year after 10 years in the role.
