R. Blake Curd, MD, was named the next president of Physician Hospitals of America at the organization's 14th annual conference.
Dr. Curd is an orthopedic surgeon and president of the Orthopedic Institute of Sioux Falls, S.D.
He is taking over duties for Paul Kerens, senior executive officer for the Kansas City Orthopedic Institute in Leawood, Kan.
