Craig Gronczewski, MD, was appointed CEO of Penn Medicine Doylestown Health, based in Doylestown, Pa., effective June 1.
Dr. Gronczewski will assume the role after serving as chief medical officer and vice president of medical affairs at Penn Medicine Princeton Health in New Jersey since December 2020, according to a May 4 health system news release.
In that role, he oversaw clinical and academic operations across Princeton Medical Center and Princeton House Behavioral Health. He also served as president of the medical staff and as a member of the Princeton Health System board, the release said.
At Doylestown Health, Dr. Gronczewski will lead a regional system anchored by a 245-bed community teaching hospital and a network of more than 600 providers across 50 specialties.
Doylestown Health and Princeton Health are part of Philadelphia-based Penn Medicine.
