Phoenix Children’s named Tarra Kerr, DNP, RN, senior vice president and chief nursing officer.
Dr. Kerr will provide strategic and operational leadership to the system’s nurses, oversee nursing workforce planning and practice advancement, and work closely with physician leaders to strengthen systemwide quality, safety and clinical performance, according to a Sept. 2 system news release shared with Becker’s.
Dr. Kerr comes to Phoenix Children’s after a 20-year tenure at Texas Children’s Hospital, where she most recently served as vice president.
