Phoenix Children’s Hospital names CFO: 4 things to know

Phoenix Children’s Hospital named Douglas Myers executive vice president and CFO.

Here are four things to know about Mr. Myers.

1. He comes to Phoenix Children’s from St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, where he was vice president and CFO.

2. During his time at Johns Hopkins All Children’s, he played a key role in the renegotiation of multiple major managed care agreements, according to Phoenix Children’s.

3. Mr. Myers also previously served as executive vice president of finance and CFO of Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland (Calif.), now Children’s Hospital Oakland.

4. At Phoenix Children’s, he takes over for Executive Vice President and CFO Craig McKnight, who was named chief strategy officer.
