Dr. Jackson most recently served as vice president at Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger Health System and CEO of both Erlanger East Hospital and Erlanger North Hospital, also based in Chattanooga.
He is the former regional operations director with DaVita HealthCare Partners in Denver and a U.S. Navy veteran, retiring after 33 years of service.
Dr. Jackson has served as an associate professor and program chair for the healthcare management degree program at the College of Health Sciences at Baptist Memorial Health Care Corp. in Memphis, Tenn.
He earned his doctorate of strategic leadership degree from Regent University and a master of science in management degree from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, Calif. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
