Peterson Health taps Midland Health executive as CEO: 5 things to know

Kerrville, Texas-based Peterson Health named Cory Edmondson president and CEO, effective May 6.

Five things to know:

1. Mr. Edmondson is currently senior vice president of strategic development for Midland (Texas) Health.

2. He joined Midland Memorial Hospital in 2001 as director of community health services.

3. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

4. Mr. Edmondson holds an MBA in healthcare administration from William Howard Taft University in Santa Ana, Calif.

5. He succeeds Pat Murray, who is retiring at the end of April after leading Peterson Health for 19 years.
