Peterson Health CEO to retire in 2019: 5 notes

Kerrville, Texas-based Peterson Health President and CEO Pat Murray is retiring at the end of April 2019, according to a Hill Country Community Journal report.

Here are five notes:

1. Mr. Murray has served as leader of Peterson Health for 19 years.

2. He was previously assistant administrator of the organization, which was then known as Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital.

3. During his tenure, the organization has received several honors, including a Transformation Award by The Advisory Board.

4. Mr. Murray has also received numerous awards over the course of his career, including the Texas Hospital Association’s Pioneer Award this year.

5. Peterson Health’s board has created a search committee and is planning to engage an executive search firm to identify Mr. Murray’s replacement.
