Peter Adamo to serve as Waterbury Hospital CEO: 3 notes

Los Angeles-based Prospect Medical Holdings selected Peter Adamo to serve as president and CEO of Waterbury (Conn.) Hospital and the Greater Waterbury Health Network.

Here are three notes:

1. Mr. Adamo previously served as regional CEO for Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia and Suburban Community Hospital in East Norriton, Pa.

2. He holds an MBA from the University of Texas at El Paso.

3. He will assume his new roles on Aug. 25. He succeeds Lester Schindel, who has been interim CEO of the organization.
