Sharon (Pa.) Regional Health System has appointed Todd Tamalunas as interim CEO, effective immediately.

Mr. Tamalunas succeeds Casey Fatch, who stepped into a newly created role as vice president of decision support at Tenor Health Foundation, which owns Sharon Regional, according to a Jan. 23 health system news release shared with Becker’s.

Mr. Tamalunas has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare operations, accounting and finance. He has held leadership roles at large health systems, critical access hospitals and rural healthcare organizations.

Sharon Regional Health System includes a 62 licensed-bed acute care hospital and outpatient facilities serving Mercer County and surrounding areas. The hospital closed in January 2025 following the bankruptcy of Dallas-based Steward Health Care and was reopened in May under Tenor Health Foundation.
