Timothy McGahen, CFO of LECOM Health Corry (Pa.) Memorial Hospital, was appointed administrator of the hospital, effective June 1, according to a CMH news release shared with Becker’s.
Mr. McGahen will replace Dan Grolemund, who was appointed CEO of Warren (Pa.) General Hospital. Mr. McGahen will also keep his CFO title.
“After conducting a thorough search, screening and interview process, LECOM Health administration is confident in Tim’s ability to lead the hospital to continued success,” Danielle Hansen, DO, regional president of LECOM Health, said in the release.
Mr. McGahen has worked for CMH since December 2013, serving as director of finance/controller prior to becoming CFO five years ago. He is the second new leader that CMH has had since March 2023, when longtime CEO Barb Nichols retired, according to the Erie Times-News.
LECOM Health, based in Erie, is the only osteopathic academic health center in the U.S.
