Hershey, Pa.-based Penn State Health has named Naomi Shreiner to a newly created vice president role overseeing the health system’s primary care service line.
Ms. Shreiner will lead strategy, operations and performance for adult primary care, according to a June 17 news release. She will work closely with physician leadership to expand access, enhance care delivery and improve outcomes across Penn State Health’s primary care network.
Ms. Shreiner has spent 18 years with Penn State Health in a variety of leadership roles. Most recently, as senior outpatient director for adult primary care, she led ambulatory operations across more than 40 practice sites and supported a large, multidisciplinary team of providers and staff, the release said.
She will oversee operational and financial performance for the primary care service line, including access, productivity, workforce development and care standardization, while ensuring alignment with systemwide goals for quality, safety and patient experience.
