Peninsula Regional Health System CEO to exit in January

Peggy Naleppa, DrM, is retiring from her roles as president and CEO of Salisbury, Md.-based Peninsula Regional Health System and Peninsula Regional Medical Center Jan. 3, 2018.

Here are four takeaways:

1. Dr. Naleppa assumed the president role at the health system in 2008 and the CEO role in 2010.

2. She is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

3. She has spent 40 years working in the healthcare industry.

4. Steven E. Leonard will succeed Dr. Naleppa. He is currently vice president of operations optimization and innovation at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
