Here are six things to know:
1. PeaceHealth did not give a reason for Mr. O’Leary’s departure.
2. In a message to employees, PeaceHealth COO Richard DeCarlo wrote, “We are so grateful for [Mr. O’Leary’s] valued contributions — and express our thanks for his leadership and commitment to our mission, patients and communities we serve,” according to the report.
3. Mr. O’Leary became chief executive of PeaceHealth Oregon in July 2015.
4. He joined PeaceHealth in 2014, initially serving as chief administrative officer at Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield, Ore.
5. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
6. PeaceHealth will appoint an interim chief executive, slated to begin April 23.
