Parkridge East Hospital names CNO: 3 points

Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Parkridge East Hospital promoted Lynn Whelan, DNP, RN, to chief nursing officer, according to The Chattanoogan.

1. Dr. Whelan was most recently assistant CNO of the hospital.

2. She has prior experience as CNO at Foundation Hospital of Houston and as assistant CNO at Atlanta-based Emory Healthcare.

3. Parkridge East Hospital is a 128-bed facility that includes a level III neonatal intensive care unit.
