Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center names Trey Abshier CEO: 4 notes

Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) Medical Center, part of Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare, hired Trey Abshier to serve as CEO, according to a Palm Beach Post report.

Here are four notes:

1. Mr. Abshier most recently served as CEO of Florida Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, another Tenet facility.

2. He previously served as COO of Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, Fla.

3. Mr. Abshier is Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center’s fourth CEO is just over three years.

4. He succeeds Dianne Goldenberg, who is leaving for a new opportunity within Tenet’s corporate division.
