Equipped with more than 31 years of healthcare experience, Mr. Harlovic previously served as president and CEO of Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He joined AGH as the psychiatric program manager, rising in the ranks to become president and COO, before being named chief executive.
Mr. Harlovic held faculty positions at Pennsylvania State University’s New Kensington campus and Butler (Pa.) Community College. He earned a professional certificate in executive leadership from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Mr. Harlovic succeeds Chuck Gijanto, who declined the board’s offer to extend his contract “due to personal reasons.”
