OSF taps foundation president

Jacque Schweighart has been appointed chief development officer and president of the Peoria, Ill.-based OSF HealthCare Foundation, effective Aug. 3.

Ms. Schweighart will define and lead a unified philanthropic strategy aligned with the mission of OSF HealthCare and its strategic priorities, according to a June 30 health system news release.

She will oversee fundraising across all giving channels, work to accelerate endowment growth through strategic partnerships and serve as the foundation’s chief ambassador to internal and external stakeholders.

Ms. Schweighart most recently served as senior vice president of Central Development Services for the University of Illinois Foundation. She has held leadership roles across multiple areas of development and fundraising, including major, principal and planned giving, annual giving and volunteer engagement programs.
