OSF Saint Anthony's Health Center CFO to retire: 3 things to know

Mike Nelson, CFO of OSF Saint Anthony's Health Center in Alton, Ill., will retire March 31, according to a St. Louis Business Journal report.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Nelson.

1. He is retiring after 26 years with the hospital.

2. Bill Kessler, former president and CEO of Saint Anthony's, said Mr. Nelson was "a good steward of our resources and his counsel was of inestimable value," according to the report. He added, "We are blessed that Mike joined us and was such a great fit with our mission."

3. Mr. Nelson will be succeeded by Mat Hanley, who previously served as director of strategic affiliations for Peoria, Ill.-based OSF HealthCare, Saint Anthony's parent system.
