OSF hospital president to step down

Eunmee Shim, MSN, president of OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, Ill., plans to step down May 29.

Derrick Frazier will assume the hospital president role, in addition to serving as president of OSF HealthCare Saint James–John W. Albrecht Medical Center in Pontiac, Ill., according to a May 6 news release from Peoria, Ill.-based OSF HealthCare.

Ms. Shim stepped into the role in January 2025 after serving as president of Adventist HealthCare Fort Washington (Md.) Medical Center.

Mr. Frazier previously served as interim president of OSF St. Joseph. In his expanded role, he will focus on systemwide strategy alignment while continuing oversight of operations in Pontiac.

Mr. Frazier will report to Jennifer Junis, interim CEO of the Eastern region for OSF HealthCare.
