In addition to the Dr. P. Phillips location, the region encompasses Orlando Health St. Cloud Hospital and the two Orlando Health Emergency Room sites at Osceola and Randal Park.
Prior to her appointment with Orlando Health, Ms. Wheeler was CFO of Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, Ga., for six years. In addition to negotiating physician contracts there, she oversaw the construction of several capital projects, including a freestanding emergency department and a behavioral health outpatient therapy facility.
Orlando Health, which appointed Leslie Flake, BSN, as its overall CFO in April 2022, operates 23 hospitals and emergency departments and employs more than 25,000 people.
