Oregon hospital taps chief medical officer

John Day, Ore.-based Blue Mountain Hospital District named Robert Yee, MD, chief medical officer.

Dr. Yee will step into his role May 1 after he finishes his locum assignment, which brought him to the hospital, according to a Blue Mountain news release. He will continue to serve as hospice medical director at the hospital’s clinic and care for residents at its Care Center.

As CMO, he will oversee clinic operations, support providers and work with leaders to guide care across the organization.
