Ms. Koernig was chosen after a six-month, nationwide search, according to a Sept. 20 news release from the health system. She previously served as president of Guthrie Corning (N.Y.) Hospital.
She takes the reins from Jeremiah Sweet, the hospital’s vice president of finance and CFO, who had been serving as interim president and CEO.
